Robert Half is hiring a Supply Management Specialist for a contract position with John Deere, located in the Quad Cities area. This role requires hands-on engagement with factory operations to ensure the availability of critical components and supports John Deere’s commitment to delivering quality products.

Location: Onsite, Moline, IL. Candidates must currently reside within the local area and candidates requiring relocation will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with order fulfillment and factory teams to ensure tire and wheel availability for production needs.

Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support capacity planning, delivery accountability, and execute cost-saving initiatives.

Drive allocation strategies based on supplier capacity and John Deere’s no-brand-preference policy.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.

Proficiency in SAP, SharePoint, and Power BI.

3-5 years of practical experience with SAP in a supply chain or manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.

Background in supply chain management is preferred.
