ENTRY LEVEL POLICE OFFICER

The City of Montesano has an opening for the position an Entry Level Police Officer.  This is a permanent, full-time, Civil Service position.  This position is subject to FLSA overtime rules.  Current salary is $5,852.34 monthly.  Health and welfare insurance premiums are paid by the City of Montesano in accordance with a current collective bargaining agreement.

Requirements:

·         Must be 20½ years of age at the time of application

·         Possess high school diploma, or GED

·         Possess a valid, current driver's license

·         No misdemeanor criminal convictions within the past 5 years

.         No felony convictions

In addition to a written test, physical agility test, and oral board panels successful applicants will also be subject to a background investigation, polygraph testing, psychological evaluation, and a medical physical exam.
