About your next Challenge as a Software Developer :
Electrical Engineer with a specialty in Automation or Energy. Knowledge of the C (and/or C++) language is essential. Experience with programming a PLC or other industrial control systems is an asset. Knowledge of the following tools is an asset: MS-Access, SQL, MS-Excel, Visual Basic.
The applicant must be able to travel/work abroad.
What will you do:
Simulate the different control systems, and/or electricity generation and distribution systems contained in a power plant.
Participate in the design of the simulation; reproduce the functionality of electrical systems (generators, transformers, circuit breakers, etc.) and/or reproduce control systems using graphical programming tools; participate in the validation and commissioning of the simulator.
Depending on the program, there may be travel required abroad at the customer sites.
Required Skills and Experiences:
Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical or Automation)
Preferred Additional Skills:
Bilingual (English and French) (oral and written)
Proficient in MS Office
Strong communication
Strong Teamwork
Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory) :
Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
