Our client, a leader in the Asset Service Banking space, is looking to hire a Sr Operations Officer (Transfer Agent) to join their team in the downtown Montreal area on a permanent basis. Please note, this is an in office role, not a work from home role.

About the company and the position:

As a key contact for our clients and investors, we act as transfer agents and registrars for Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Private Debt funds.

Our experienced staff provides long-term support to fund managers and facilitates their communication strategy with end investors.

Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Creation of the Shareholder Register on launch of a new fund

• Investor closing – collection of investor subscription documents

• Updating the shareholder register with the closing/transfers/ exit

• AML tracker reconciliation

• AML/KYC Blocked Account Process

• Reconciliation between systems

• Notices Approval

• Cash monitoring tool process

• Recording Capital Calls and Distribution

• Creation of the Capital Call and Distribution file

• Downloading notices

• Recording the capital call / distribution

• Cash reconciliation and SOF (Capital Call only)

• Updating the TA Tracker

• New Funds Onboarding

Must Have Skills/Experience:

1) 3-5 years’ experience working at a fund administrator within the transfer agency team / transfer agent role

2) Strong Excel Skills

3) Strong Communication skills (Verbal & Written)
