Assignment running from November 25, 2024, to January 4, 2026, with a full-time workload expected.
This is a hybrid position with a mix of in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.
Your role
Under the supervision of Montreal Sales leadership, you work primarily with direct clients to support them in achieving their business goals. You promote TV and digital platforms in the CBC/Radio-Canada ecosystem with a focus on increasing investments by active clients, prospecting for new clients and closing sales of comprehensive, integrated advertising campaigns (TV and digital).
Your primary duties will be the following:
Be responsible for maintaining the business relationship with direct clients and agencies as well as negotiating and managing volume agreements.
Gather and analyze client needs and clearly define client marketing goals and key performance indicators in order to submit effective, relevant proposals.
Perform tasks involved in the sales workflow (updating activities in the CRM system, forecasting, client meetings, prospecting).
Maintain a sufficient volume of opportunities to achieve or exceed sales targets.
Maintain and develop contacts with our clients.
Work closely with representatives from all CBC & Radio-Canada Media Solutions departments (Content Marketing, Research, etc.).
What you bring:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in administration or related field, or equivalent experience
Three or more years’ experience in TV and digital advertising sales (senior profile)
Skills:
Excellent business development skills
Ability to manage an existing high-volume portfolio
Ability to build and foster effective business relationships
Ability to work well under pressure
Critical listening skills
Proficiency with the MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
Ability to perform sales-related administrative tasks
Excellent spoken and written French; good command of English required
Valid driver’s licence and fully insured vehicle
Ability and willingness to travel frequently within your sales region
