Description

We are seeking several CNC Machinists to join our team in Mooresville, North Carolina. This role involves operating CNC machinery, primarily CNC setup of lathes and mills, to fabricate parts. The CNC machinist will play a critical role in ensuring the production of high-quality components that meet precise specifications. We are looking for weekend shift and 2nd shift candidates. Will pay for relocation if outside of NC!

Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of CNC machines including mills and lathes.

• Program CNC equipment using FANUC controls to produce parts as per specifications.

• Maintain accurate records of the machining process.

• Ensure all machined parts meet quality standards and specifications.

• Perform regular maintenance on CNC machines to ensure their longevity and reliability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines promptly and efficiently.

• Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency.

• Stay updated on the latest machining technologies and techniques.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience setup of CNC machines, CNC mills, and CNC lathe

• Knowledge of FANUC control systems is required

• Ability to interpret and execute designs from technical drawings and blueprints

• Strong understanding of machinery and mechanics

• Demonstrable experience with CNC equipment maintenance and troubleshooting

• Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workspace

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision in work

• Good verbal communication skills for effective coordination with team members

• Ability to understand and adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations.
