Minka is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Senior Warehouse Manager. This individual will lead all daily inventory and warehouse operations at our Moreno Valley, California Distribution Facility.

The Senior Warehouse Manager will be professional, creative, encouraging, and an adaptable leader who excels in a fast-paced environment. This leader must embrace and affect change and utilize our associates' talents to reach business goals. The individual will also be responsible for training and developing their team's skillsets to set each individual up for success.

With this position having multiple reports, a collaborative, forward-thinking, and hardworking attitude is a must, as well as the ability to interact with and encourage a diverse set of experienced team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership for the Moreno Valley warehouse, the ability to be a change agent, and embrace change and development.

  • Build, communicate, and affect vision for growth and improvement.

  • Promote and drive safety daily in the workplace, crafting a safe work environment for associates.

  • Increase and maintain high levels of associate engagement throughout the operation.

  • Provide consistent communication to associates and counterparts.

  • Drive high levels of quality in customer shipments and inventory integrity within the building.

  • Maintain and develop a productive warehouse by hiring, training, and providing professional development for all associates.

  • Lead and oversee associates performing activities, including unloading and stocking inbound shipments, order picking, packaging, shipping outbound orders, and cycle counting.

  • Manage metrics to drive warehouse efficiency.

  • Ensure high cleanliness levels are maintained in our sites and confirm that cycle counts are completed daily and accurately.

  • Schedule and oversee warehouse team, manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime keeping labor metrics in line with sales forecasts and expectations.

  • Maintain security of warehouse and safety of all associates and equipment, reporting any accidents and conveying any issues to management

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in distribution management leading 40+ employees in a large distribution/warehouse environment

  • Must have leadership experience in managing and developing a team, mentoring, coaching, training, and performance management.

  • Ability to work with people and build a positive and engaging environment for the associates.

  • Phenomenal interactive communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate to different levels of the organization.

  • Previous experience working in a WMS environment is required.

  • Strong computer skills, including expertise in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Material Handling Equipment Certification

  • A solid understanding of OSHA and DOT regulations

  • 1 warehouse located on one campus (200k sq. ft., 110k sq. ft., 90k sq. ft.)

  • 40+ associates

  • 1 shift operation

Pay Range:

$5,692.50 - $12,402.50

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
