Description The School of Public Health at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for a (Hybrid) College Recruitment Specialist. About the Opportunity Reporting to the Senior Associate Dean for Academic, Student, and Faculty Affairs, the College Recruitment Specialist has primary oversight and responsibility for the recruitment, admissions, and enrollment of all graduate and undergraduate students within the West Virginia University School of Public Health. The incumbent will provide a leadership and supervisory role for staff in areas associated with student recruitment and success. Wellness programs What you'll do: Manage the application, admission, matriculation, and enrollment of qualified candidates for all undergraduate and graduate programs in the West Virginia University School of Public Health. Develop and implement strategic plans for increasing enrollment and admissions into the School of Public Health. Supervise support staff in the management of processes and procedures for handling incoming files for admission and accepted student files, communications regarding admissions criteria and decisions, application procedures and general academic questions and in the organization of data for the admissions committees. Meet with unsuccessful applicants who seek possible improvement for future admissions attempts. Analyze admission and enrollment data and reports to assess current and future admissions criteria and enrollment policies. Supervise and provide guidance to students regarding registration for courses and management of implementation, maintenance, changes, etc. for all programs. Ensure that university and School of Public Health policies and procedures are followed and upheld, which includes the updating of SPH policies and guidelines for submittal to the Dean or designee for final approval and implementation. Serve as the liaison for all student related issues regarding admissions and enrollment within the university and externally as appropriate or required. Develop and manage strategies, goals, and proposals for recruiting cycle. Manage the coordination and implementation of events that directly relate to SPH targeted students, including school specific events and events hosted by WVU admissions.
