Job Description

As an Agile Team Manager (ATM) leading one or more Agile teams, you will be responsible for the formation of cross-functional, appropriately skilled, diverse, and inclusive teams. You will work with various partners, including vendors, to address issues that impede the success of

the teams.

  • Attract and retain cross functional, well formed, well balanced Agile teams, with a specific focus on key roles (Scrum Lead, Product Owner) as well as provide technical advice and guidance to Agile teams, where you have the appropriate background and experience to do so.

  • Guide Agile teams on solution architecture, technical design and testing of the application to suit business needs.

  • Monitor teams' Agile operational metrics and mentor the teams to continuously improve.

  • Complete performance reviews, reward the team, and support professional development.

  • Address day-to-day issues and provide performance feedback to vendor management.

  • Establish goals and objectives for the Agile teams.

  • Ensure that applications meet any required compliance and standards (e.g. SOx).

  • Ensure that the Cisco application register is maintained and current.

  • Sales domain knowledge on Forecasting, Goaling and Planning

Skills and Requirements

  • Extensive experience in leading large agile delivery teams with a focus on continuous integration, continuous testing and continuous delivery

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or other business AND 15+ years of professional experience in software development roles or leadership, OR

  • Masters in Computer Science or other relevant Engineering Bachelors with strong Computer Science AND 12+ years of professional experience in software development roles or leadership

  • Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies, ceremonies and artifacts such as Program Increment (PI) and sprint planning, backlog refinement, writing and sizing user stories,

etc.

  • Exceptional communications and organizational skills

  • In-depth knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle

  • Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills

  • Understanding of the sales process, preferably with experience in sales forecasting, goaling, and planning

  • Expert-level understanding of digital trends and impact on various industries and how it can enable business transformation and build true value

  • Demonstrated leadership experience across digital, program management, innovation, and experience design

  • Ability to recognize and reward team members for accomplishments

  • Empathy, curiosity, and desire to improve and constantly learn * Software development experience

  • Test Automation experience with tools such as UiPath and Selenium

  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and architecture, operating databases on public cloud, along with migration experience

  • Experience in Anaplan, Java, SQL/ No SQL Databases, Informatica, MuleSoft and Angular null
