Monadnock Nonwovens LLC Logistics/Shipping Controller in Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania

Monadnock Non-Wovens, a fast growing and busy manufacturer of media used in face masks and filters located in Mt. Pocono, is looking for great people to join our team and grow with us. Training is provided and rapid promotions follow. We are currently hiring for a Logistics/Shipping Controller.

Must be dependable and able to work as part of a team. Good communication skills are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming items and outgoing items.
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized.
  • Cycle counts and consumption.
  • Rail cars and bulk resin.
  • Recycle Program
  • Unload and store incoming materials. Report deliveries and note shortages and non-conformances in line with ISO procedures. Arrange all materials logically and safely. Document procedures. Receive raw materials into inventory.
  • Stage orders to be shipped. Create bills of lading and packing lists for all loads and ship product out of inventory.
  • Process UPS and FedEx shipments and arrange pick up as required. Package adequately for type of shipment using stretch wrap machine.
  • Safely load outgoing product, ensuring proper grade and roll/run numbers are loaded. Make corrections in the system as required. Ensure proper trailers are spotted in docks for loading. Final check on outgoing rolls and boxes including the labels and waybills. Document standard shipping procedures. Ensure training needs are met including truck training.
  • Manage and maintain cleanliness and organization of shipping and warehouse C. Communicate with the warehouse and shipping coordinator with shipping and receiving plans.
  • Timely weekly and year-end cycle counts and adjustments. Track absolute inventory levels and recommend / re-order process critical items such as additives, boxes, spun bond. Manage annual Counts. Generate weekly reports.
  • Make arrangements with railroad to remove empty cars and spot full cars. Ensure resin railcars are used in timely manner, fully used and appropriately documented. Establish rail car usage plan. Document movements and procedures
  • Manage scrap bales and arrange for pick-up of all recycled items. Organize annual recycling contracts. Schedule change out of compactor/pick up by Recyclers.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
