Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 2 years of experience working with optical design tools (e.g., ZEMAX, CODE V, FRED, LightTool), or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in Python.

• Experience in lens validation and testing.

• Experience in lab setup and optical metrology.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$178,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. • Set up lab experiments and perform optical tests.

• Develop new tools and techniques for measuring the optical properties of camera components.

• Work with other optical engineers and cross-functional teams to explore new lens technologies and camera designs.

• Participate in evaluating development builds, ensuring new features work as intended, and potentially troubleshooting critical issues before mass production.
