Reporting to the Director of Finance Digital Transformation and Governance, the Group Manager, Core Finance Transformation is a key member of Intuit’s finance team. This leader will deliver outcomes with speed, empower us to drive change with excellence, and enhance our ability to scale Finance’s impact across Intuit.

This is a functional leadership role (not an IT position), working across the various finance functional teams and multiple IT engineering organizations in support of the financial systems and business processes for Quote to Cash, Source to Pay, Record to Report, Finance Data and Financial Planning & Analysis.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide leadership for our long-term transformation strategy aimed at modernizing Intuit's core financial systems.

  • Foster collaboration among senior leaders within and beyond the Finance function to gain a comprehensive understanding of business challenges and develop effective solutions.

  • Assemble a highly competent team capable of driving rapid and effective transformation.

What you'll bring

We are looking for a leader who can establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the Finance and Intuit more broadly and is viewed as a team player. To be successful in this role, the candidate must have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field or equivalent work experience

  • Demonstrated expertise in leading and managing transformational initiatives, change management strategies, robust frameworks, policies, and procedures within a comprehensive organizational structure.

  • Attention to detail with an understanding of the big picture - experience creating a vision and influencing others to align to that vision

  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience with the implementation of financial systems.

  • A strong and up-to date knowledge of strategic finance best practices specifically related to the modernization of the finance function

  • Subject matter expert in financial business processes including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, treasury operations, and record-to-report.

  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills with a wide range of cross functional and internal audiences with experience distilling complex concepts and analysis into concise actionable conclusions

  • Highly skilled at building relationships across Finance and Technology teams to influence agendas and drive organizational priorities and programs

  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to flexibly multi-task between strategy-related work and tactical ‘in the trenches’ work

  • Strong business acumen in order to understand, prioritize, and act on requests received

  • Commitment to diversity and inclusion and a belief that diverse teams bring better business and customer outcomes

  • Strong academic record required. MBA or equivalent from a nationally recognized institution preferred

How you will lead

  • Provide strategic guidance and thought partnership with Finance, Technology and business executives to define and drive the strategy to transform Intuit’s core financial systems.

  • Translate business strategies and objectives to measurable outcomes by developing trust with executives, engaging in constructive debate, and partnering with peer leaders, business units, technology teams, and across other finance functions.

  • Recruit, mentor and coach a high performing team that continually drives governance and transformation; ensure members have the resources, tools, skills, and capabilities they require to be exceptional finance business partners.

  • Oversee the development of cross-functional initiatives, including researching, benchmarking, analyzing data, making recommendations, and creating systems and processes to achieve cost and efficiency improvements across the organization.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the Intuit leadership team with a focus on Financial Systems, Data, and Technology to ensure that we are thinking holistically across multiple business segments and functions in the context of shaping our overall data strategy.

  • Deliver effective communication to all interested parties to support effective decision-making and manage the smooth and integrated delivery of projects; Ensure key collaborators are engaged in business improvement activities, including implementation and adoption.
