Weatherford HR Continuous Improvement Specialist in Mumbai, India

The HR Shared Services Continuous Improvement role works in a team environment to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS) operations and focuses primarily on analyzing the HRSS processes , solving problems, and designing solutions. Lead continuous improvement initiatives through disciplined use of measurements, accountability, analysis and discussion of process alternatives to arrive at best practices. Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing HR processes and shared service operations (vis a vis established KPIs) and develop sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable HR process / operational improvements. Project manage process optimisation initiatives and new service transitions to HR Shared Services. This role will work with HR Shared Services and HRSS Global process owners to spearhead process improvement and operational effectiveness initiatives with the following key responsibilities:

  • Spearheading Continuous Improvement program.

  • Review process data and lead the inception and execution of process improvement initiatives for the most widely used and impactful HR processes (ex: onboarding, leave of absence, termination, etc.).

  • Review operational capacity and shared services utilisation and productivity and work with Shared Services Lead to develop and execute improvement initiatives.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans encompassing project scope, objectives, deliverables, dependencies, resource needs, and establish timelines for continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Acquire expertise in HR technology platforms, staying abreast of new tools and features, and championing the adoption of our suite of tools.

  • Work with HR Technology team to identify opportunities to further leverage existing technologies for increased automation and identify ways to introduce AI, RPA and robotics methods and tools to further augment process optimisation.

  • Regularly review and audit key HR processes that help to drive the employee experience to identify areas of opportunity Process and operational effectiveness / productivity analytics.

  • Develop tools and templates to collect and analyse process, activity and operations data (e.g. volumetrics, time-spend, cycle-time, utilisation and productivity / FTE ratios) efficiently.

  • Establish appropriate data collection mechanisms / collect data from established sources (e.g. dashboards, reports, business user surveys, C-Sat scores and customer satisfaction surveys etc.)

  • Conduct robust process and operations data analytics (time-spend, cycle time, capacity and productivity assessments: (FTE ratios, utilisation), present findings and insights to GPOs and Shared Services team and use findings to support CI proposals.

  • Track process and operational KPIs and work with shared services team and global process owners to Identifying the root causes of operational challenges and potential areas for improvement and develop remedial plans to address issues and gaps and optimize where needed. Project Management.

  • Project manage CI initiatives and new service transitions, utilizing appropriate PM tools and methods and working collaboratively with key stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a human resources or business-related field.

  • 6+ Years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Business Analysis, Project Management.

  • Proven track record in delivering continuous improvements in HR Hire to Retire, including Payroll.

  • Strong data analytics skills with Excel, Power BI, Python or other data tools.

  • Agile, LEAN, Six Sigma blackbelt, or other quality management certification OR equivalent knowledge, skills, experience preferred with experience specific to HR domain.

  • Experience with AI and RPA tools and deployments in HR Shared Services domain is an advantage.

  • Good understanding of HR processes, policies and procedures.

  • Good understanding of HR/Payroll interfaces.

  • Experience with project managing service transitions and continuous improvement projects preferred.

  • Experience of working in a shared service environment would be advantageous.

  • Demonstrable track record of agile thinking and being adaptable.

  • Highly organized and responsive, with ability to work to tight deadlines.

  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, understanding different perspectives and being able to synthesise solutions accordingly.

  • Numerate and a lateral thinker, good at data analysis, with a strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent excel skills to support process and operations analytics, being able to design and automate data collection and data analysis templates.
