Key Responsibilities
Creating designs with software like Photoshop, illustrator, Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD. Establishing wireframes and prototypes to visually represent the layout and functionality of a website or application, focusing on user interaction and navigation. Designing the visual elements of the user interface, including colour schemes, typography, and iconography, to create a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing look.
Developing user-friendly and visually appealing designs for digital products like websites and mobile apps.
Taking designs (typically created by UI/UX designers) and translating them into code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Using Javascript and Jquery to handle animations and form validations.
Ensuring that websites and applications are responsive and work well on different devices and screen sizes.
Working closely with back-end developers, UI/UX designers to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end components.
Using version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage and maintain codebase changes collaboratively.
Implementing interactive elements such as buttons, forms, and navigation menus using JavaScript frameworks.
Ensuring consistency across various browsers and devices by testing and debugging.
Staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in front-end development and incorporating them into projects as appropriate.
Undertaking research activities to understand user needs, behaviors, and demographics.
Competencies and skills
Minimum 5 years of experience in web and app designing using tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma.
Proficiency with tools like Visual Studio Code, Sublime Text, or JetBrains IDEs.
Ability to use browser developer consoles for debugging and optimizing code.
Proficiency in languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
