Job Description
Primary Location:
Nampa, Idaho
Inventory Control Specialist:
Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of full goods and raw materials, ensuring all items are readily available to meet current and future demands.
Order and procure raw materials necessary to meet production quality, schedule and cost requirements.
Utilizes computer software to forecast raw materials received, used, credited, and manage variance reporting for all products.
Track/monitor and mitigate physical inventory to electronic records, including purchase orders and invoices.
Investigate discrepancies for timely resolution.
Collects and enters all receipts and disbursements of full goods, and raw materials to include full inventory accounting.
Prepares inventory balance and shortage sheets for Senior Management.
Cross-train (receive and give) to provide effective backup for other office administrators.
Other duties may be assigned by immediate or other supervisors at any time.
Starting Pay $20.00 DOE
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to effectively read/write and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Information Management, Integrity/Honesty, Organizational Awareness, Problem Solving, Technology Application.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES
Proficiency in Microsoft office applications, and experience with ERP; SAP/JDE/Oracle inventory software. Experience with cloud based systems preferred.
