Covenant Health NURSING SUPERVISOR PER DIEM-2 in Nashua, New Hampshire

JOB SUMMARY

The Nursing Supervisor assumes full accountability for planning, organization, direction, coordination, and evaluation of patient care services during his/her assigned shift. Responsibilities include but not limited to: resource allocation, quality improvement and patient safety, over-sight of on-call personnel, financial management, appropriation of equipment, patient and family advocacy, emergency management, and administrative supervision. The Nursing Supervisor role is crucial to the delivery of quality, cost-effective patient care and, therefore, the success of the St. Joseph Hospital. The Nursing Supervisor serves in the absence of the VP-PCS, clinical nursing directors, and the CEO.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate from an approved School of Nursing.

  • Current NH license required or temporary license.

  • Baccalaureate degree required.

  • MSN/Master's degree preferred.

    EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years of clinical experience in appropriate clinical area with demonstrated ability in clinical and administrative management.

    PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES:

  • Membership in professional nursing organization required.

  • Certification in specialty area or administration preferred

    Rate of pay: 42.06
