Job Title: Conveyor Field Installation Technician - 90% Travel Requirement

Job Description

Candidates will be on the Field Service Team. Their role will be to travel to sites of customers such as Amazon, FedEx, Target, Walmart, etc. They will be expected to handle all Service calls such as PM's, Breakdowns, Conveyors that need to be troubleshot ASAP. Within Amazon's contract, we are required to have a Tech

on-site within 4 hours of any Service Calls made to company. Candidates can expect to work anywhere from 40-60/hrs. per week!

• Install and commission conveyor equipment and systems, including mechanical and electrical components.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the installation and maintenance of conveyor systems

• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to the project manager and internal teams

• Collaborate with other departments such as engineering, sales, and customer service to ensure project success

• Maintain accurate project documentation and reports. - Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Experience decommissioning and installing Conveyor Systems

• Experience with sorters and chutes

• PLC Knowledge

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

• Willingness to travel to client sites frequently.

• Physical ability to work in a field installation environment, including the ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.

• Experience with basic hand and power tools
