Job description The ACCS/YCCS LPN provides each client with quality nursing and medical services within the scope of their license and under the supervision of the Nurse Manager. This individual is a medical professional who actively supports and implements the established treatment goals and principles of the agency. The LPN treats children, adolescents, and adults within the context of recognizable and sound medical standards. YCCS and ACCS are short-term crisis stabilization units within Acute Care Services for children and adolescents up to age 18, and adults 18 and older. The primary function CCS is to provide short-term crisis stabilization, therapeutic intervention, and specialized programming in a staff secure environment with a high degree of supervision and structure. Starting at \$30-\$33 per hour (depending on years of experience) + shift differentials Available Shifts: Sunday- 2nd, Monday- 2nd, Tuesday- 2nd, Wednesday- 1st, Thursday- 2nd, Friday- 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Saturday- 1st, 2nd, 3rd **FRIDAY & SATURDAY 3RD SHIFT (11:00PM-7:00AM) NEEDED \$7.50 PER HOUR SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL** \$1/hour Language Differential! (eligible languages include: Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, Spanish or ASL) \$2500 Full-Time Sign-On Bonus! (half at 3 months; half at 6 months) Shift Differentials: SATURDAY-SUNDAY 1ST SHIFT + \$2.50/HOUR MONDAY-FRIDAY 2ND SHIFT + \$1.50/HOUR SATURDAY & SUNDAY 2ND SHIFT + \$4.00/HOUR SUNDAY-THURSDAY 3RD SHIFT + \$5.00/HOUR FRIDAY & SATURDAY 3RD SHIFT +7.50/HOUR Responsibilities: Assess and monitor patients\' mental health conditions and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by prescribers. Monitor and report any changes in patients\' conditions to healthcare team members. Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain accurate and complete patient records. Assist with coordinating admission and discharges of clients by working with the treatment team. Reviews cases and assists with triage as needed in our Emergency Services Program. Participates in ongoing staff development and training curriculum. Participates in regularly scheduled supervision with the Nurse Manager. Qualifications Active Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN license in the state of Massachusetts Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team-focused environment. Compassionate and empathetic nature. Knowledge of psychiatric medications
