Overview Implement a spectrum of support services, instruction, and assistance to parents/caregivers to improve their skills and ability to fulfill parenting roles and responsibilities. Support services include, but are not limited to, addressing safety threats and risks; parenting skills training; education and training in activities related to home management; arrangement and supervision of visits for children in out-ofhome placements; scheduling and providing transportation; attending treatment meetings and court hearings as requested. This position reports directly to the Parent Aide Program Manager. **Workers who reside in or are familiar with the following communities listed are encouraged to apply. Boston, Southeastern MA, Lynn, Lowell, Lawrence, Haverhill, Framingham, and Worcester. Requirements Education: Associate?s Degree (minimum)/Bachelor?s Degree Preferred in Human Services Field Experience: A minimum of two years? experience in the Human Services or related field Required Certifications/Licensure: active and clean driver\'s license and proof of insurance; must be CORI approved. Special Skills: 1. Strong writing and communication skills; excellent organizational and planning skills; 2. Ability to prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment; 3. Experience with basic Microsoft programs (Office 365). 4. Ability to take the initiative, work independently, and work collaboratively. 5. Passion, tenacity, and optimism for the issues affecting parents and their families. 6. Creativity in identifying and developing resources, even in limited-resource areas. 7. Experience in maintaining professional boundaries. 8. Using your vehicle is necessary for traveling to and from client appointments and other meetings. Local and Eastern Massachusetts-wide travel is required.
