HAV Solutions is expanding its R&D activities with an exciting new group within the I CE Solutions R&D team. As part of this growth, we are seeking a Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer to join our dynamic team.

At HAV Solutions, we lead the way in cutting-edge technology. This new group will focus on developing interface HW components and integrating third-party IPs into both existing and new FPGA-based systems. Our Veloce™ proFPGA system architecture is celebrated for its top-tier modularity, scalability, flexibility, and portability, meeting the verification needs of today’s hardware and software engineers.

Main responsibilities

• Design and develop RTL IPs for existing and new systems, with an emphasis on AXI-based IPs.

• Qualify third-party IPs for complex protocols.

• Integrate third-party RTL IPs into existing and new AXI-based systems.

• Create simulation and test environments to demonstrate processor integration.

• Write embedded applications to support various solutions.

• Build deliverable demo designs for seamless integrations.

• Generate documentation reference material and user guides for developed solutions.

• Perform system-level integration and carry out necessary verification tasks.

Knowledge & Experience Needed

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Engineering or Electronics Engineering.

• +3 years of experience in digital design, embedded systems design, and AXI interfacing.

• Excellent knowledge of SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL.

• Experience in functional simulation.

• Experience in developing embedded C/C++ applications.

• Experience in embedded Linux driver development.

• Knowledge of contemporary protocols, including AXI, PCIe, UFS, MIPI UniPro, NVMe, USB, SATA, SAS, Ethernet, DDRx.

• Familiarity with the Xilinx development workflow (Vivado + Vitis), especially for the Zynq family of devices.

• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python/TCL/Perl/Shell) is preferred.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and share knowledge effectively.
