Position Title - Vocational Service Coordinator\ Department - Facility Management\ Reports to - Program Manager\ Employment Status - ? Full-Time ? Part-Time\ FLSA Status - ? Non-Exempt\ Effective Date - 1/01/2023

\ POSITION SUMMARY\ The Vocational Service Coordinator will be responsible for providing vocational support for people with disabilities through job support activities, ongoing skills development, and assume the responsibility of case management. These services are provided in an effort towards helping clients achieving independence. The Employment Coordinator will be expected to verify the necessary paperwork for each client meets professional standards and deadlines, thereby helping the team meet the regulatory requirements of its funders. The Employment Coordinator will also be assigned individual responsibilities and special projects to assist in the ongoing operations of the team. This position will require a high degree of flexibility, comfort in ambiguity, and working in flexible workspaces including working remotely and at various work sites.

\ ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\ To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\ Adheres to AFPS, DDDS, DVR, State of Delaware policies and procedures.\ Observe HIPPA compliance in all record keeping.\ Meet with employer/work-site supervisor to ascertain job duties and employee daily work shift responsibilities.\ Reviewing client documents for accuracy including referral, and authorization documentation.\ Develops job leads by contacting employers in target industries; responding to job postings and ads; and conducting Internet searches.\ Maintains record of employer contacts on computer database and distributes marketing materials, including fact sheets, brochures, and resumes to database employers on an ongoing basis.\ Shares job leads with individuals and co-workers; coordinates individuals job search strategy; and monitors labor market trends.\ Engages individuals in their job development and teaches job search skills.\ Provides information and counsel on career options to individuals and their support team.\ Develops resumes, cover letters, portfolios and/or other materials. May drive individuals to job search activities.\ Visits potential job sites to evaluate environment and to analyze job requirements in relation to individuals skill profile.\ Assist with administration and delivery of quality employment services as needed.\ Serve as point of contact for employers.\ Provide career coaching support as needed.\ Transportation of supported individuals, workers in your personal vehicle, as applicable.\ Assist in developing and implementing appropriate personal services plans.\ Provide Community Based Assessments.\ Identify and prepare clients to be interviewed for specific job vacancies.\ Develops and maintains skills through in-service and training seminars.\ 80% of time spent must be related to billable activity and placement of three individuals per month.\ Participates in staff meetings, in-service and training seminars.\ Perform other related duties as assigned to support the program needs.
