We are seeking Registered Nurses to serve seniors with compassionate, quality care at one of Minnesota's leading nonprofit senior housing and service providers. Nursing Schedules include working every other weekend/holiday: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (48 hours per pay period) 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. (16 - 24 hours per pay period) 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. (48 - 64 hours per pay period) Benefits Opportunities for advancement -Grow a life-long career with Saint Therese! Saint Therese Location Information We have four senior communities in New Hope, Brooklyn Park, Shoreview, and Woodbury that are rich with thoughtful amenities and support. Our compassionate services also reach seniors living in the broader Twin Cities area through home care, outpatient therapies and wellness programs. Rooted in history, Saint Therese of New Hope is our largest community. This care center has 168 skilled nursing beds for long-term and transitional care. In addition, the Residence at Saint Therese of New Hope houses 225 independent apartments and suites for assisted living and memory care. Job Responsibilities The Registered Nurse (RN) evaluates, documents, directs and provides nursing care to residents. This role will communicate resident status changes to relatives or responsible party, as well as the case manager, house supervisor, and medical provider. Education: Successful completion of an approved nursing program for Registered Nurses Active RN licensure with the MN Board of Nursing by start date Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Resident centered thinking, with awareness & sensitivity to resident needs, interests, & abilities Ability to meet the physical demands of position, including lifting over 50 lbs. while transferring a resident.
