POSITION: Lead A/V Technician

DEPARTMENT: Production

REPORTS TO: Production Manager

FLSA STATUS: Salaried/Exempt

Summary

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Lead A/V Technician for ASM Global/Caesars Superdome | Smoothie King Center | Champions Square. Responsible for repair and maintenance of campus-wide audio, video, lighting, and LED video board equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee CCTV head-end room and RF distribution infrastructure

• Manage equipment service and warranty issues

• Oversee A/V equipment spare parts procurement and replacement equipment

• Understand and respond to Event Services and client issues

• Provide technical support throughout events as assigned

• Oversee inventory management and maintenance of inventory database

• Supervise full time and part time staff as required to achieve performance objectives

• All other duties as assigned

• Must successfully pass a criminal background check

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Able to operate machines such as scissor and bucket lifts, and able to work at heights over 50 ft

• Must have a working knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and general A/V experience

• Communicate in a friendly, respectful, and understandable manner

• Demonstrate communication, organization, and customer service skills

• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

  Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• SMPTE training or equivalent education and experience; certifiable
