Accounts Payable Manager- Hybrid 140k

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a high-volume Accounts Payable team in all daily functions, ensuring that vendor invoices and credit card charges are coded, processed and paid accurately and timely in accordance with firm guidelines; automate manual processes; train, mentor and evaluate staff.

  • During peak times or when short-handed (due to staff vacations or sick time) perform hands-on processing of the above.

  • Establish and manage effective vendor relationships.

  • Prepare complex vendor and payment reconciliations.

  • Assist with the implementation of Chrome River.

  • Generate month-end close reports.

  • Document/create policies and procedures.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • 2 recent years experience managing a high-volume Accounts Payable team.

  • 5 recent years experience in a law firm Accounts Payable department.

  • Mastery in Excel (pivot tables, V-lookups, filters, etc.).

  • Foreign currency experience.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, exceptional work ethic, deadline-oriented, with the ability to work well under pressure, prioritize and multi-task while ensuring the highest levels of accuracy and quality.
