Paramount Analyst/Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) in New York, New York
Overview & Responsibilities
The Paramount Media Networks Group Finance team is currently seeking an Analyst or Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join the team! The Analyst/Senior Analyst will work in close coordination with the Senior Manager of FP&A to support forecasting, deliver financial statement analysis across the consolidated PMN brands and businesses-including strategic long-range planning, annual budgeting/monthly forecasting, cash planning, and overall KPIs and metrics-and provide strategic support to PMN financial and operational leadership. Assist with the PMN planning cycle including the long range planning process, annual operating plan (budget) and monthly forecasting processes
Generate and analyze financial reports to support monthly operating income, variance analysis, and FP&A processes
Distribute content licensing and programming deliverables to Corporate Finance on a monthly basis
Contribute in developing Powerpoint presentations addressing senior management on current financial outlook and key performance metrics
Manage monthly dashboard providing key insights into PMN financial performance and metrics across the internal finance organization
Provide guidance to controllership on the cash application process and ad hoc accounting related projects
Create ancillary invoice requests on a monthly and quarterly basis to raise invoices to customers
Cultivate relationships between PMN Finance peer teams, centralized revenue teams (Ad Sales, Affiliate, Home Video, etc), and centralized expense teams (Compensation, SG&A, etc.)
Facilitate a high-level of communication and collaboration with finance teams across the enterprise
Provide backup in the monthly close process
Promote a positive work environment demonstrating respect for colleagues at all levels
Create efficiencies by automating reporting and implementing tracking processes
This role will report to the Senior Manager, FP&A and work out of the New York office on a hybrid basis!
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree required, a focus in Accounting, Finance, or related area preferred
Analyst Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience
Senior Analyst Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience
Additional Qualifications
Knowledge of financial principles and analyses
Analytical problem-solving skills, ability to contextualize data effectively and efficiently
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Keen attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proactive self-starter and teammate, ability to learn quickly, be adaptable to changing industry and organizational landscape
Experience in a cross-functional, highly matrixed team environment are a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Experience with SAP and/or Longview are a plus

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $60,000.00 - 95,000.00.
The salary range for Analyst level candidates is $60,000 - $80,000
The salary range for Senior Analyst level candidates is $72,900 - $95,000
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.This position is bonus eligible.
