DoorDash Associate Manager, DashMart - Product Operations in New York, New York

About the Team

DashMart is a staple of our New Verticals function here at DoorDash, focused on building a new type of convenience store that offers both household essentials and local restaurant favorites to our customers' doorsteps.

About the Role

You will sit on our DashMart Strategy & Operations team, with a focus on supply chain. In this role, you will own the entire lifecycle of product implementations, from sparking ideas to executing game-changing products, tools, and processes that catapult DashMart's growth and efficiency. You will help scale our EDI platform through the implementation of net-new documents, and improving the flow of data between our systems through integration enhancements. You will identify opportunities for process optimization and implement improvements to enhance overall supply chain efficiency. You will be responsible for requirements gathering, overseeing solution builds, user acceptance testing (UAT), change management, and runway/roll out for all your projects. You will collaborate with Product and Engineering, Business Systems, Accounting, Operations and other DashMart teams to build solutions and operationalize rollout.

You will report into the Manager on our Product Operations team. We are in a hybrid model, so we spend some time in person & some time working from home.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Lead. You’ll lead the implementation of several DashMart programs (across product, tooling, process and integrations).

  • Build. You’ll manage and develop sustainable processes, tools, and systems to enable our Supply Chain team to be efficient and optimized

  • Analyze. You’ll use SQL to derive quantitative insights on the current state of our tools and identify new ways to approach our future state.

  • Collaborate. You’ll work closely with Business Systems, Accounting, Product, Engineering, Operations and external third party vendors to build scalable systems and processes to support all business partners.

  • Flex. You’ll sit in Operations, but you’ll wear different hats (product manager, project manager, change manager, strategist, data analyst) in order to drive outcomes for covered projects.

    We’re excited about you because…

  • You're an owner. You are detail-oriented and organized, and not afraid to get your hands dirty to “do what it takes” to get things done.

  • You make room at the table for diverse perspectives. Navigating complex problems and leading stakeholders towards a common goal, you prioritize the need to foster critical cross functional relationships from diverse parts of the business

  • You solve problems from first principles. You're excited to solve problems in innovative ways, and you resist "this is how it's always been done" thinking. You love working with data and can work independently in SQL to root cause problems. You're unafraid of ambiguity. Rapid change and learning is exciting to you, and you thrive in ambiguous, startup environments.

  • You understand the procure-to-pay lifecycle and have experience working in systems such as EDI, ERPs and WMSs.

  • You’re a clear communicator. You can gather information from multiple sources and distill complex problems into succinct statements for different audiences. You have 4-6+ years of experience within project, product or program management. You’ve succeeded in fast-paced cultures (tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or a related experience), and you’ve led teams to achieve audacious goals.
