Associate (Apollo Management Holdings, L.P. - New York, NY); Multiple positions available: Offered salary range of $169,229 to $189,229 per year. Researching, developing, and implementing streamlined technologies across all business lines at Apollo. Developing scalable solutions and anticipate future needs. Initiating technology ideas and experimentation and remaining current with technology trends. Leading investigation of ideas and facilitate execution of discovery efforts including smart experiments and proofs of concept. Leading innovation initiatives as assigned and act as innovation liaison for key stakeholders, internal leaders, subject matter experts and external parties. Share successful experiments across the enterprise to determine other potential use cases. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify and remove roadblocks that impede time to value on innovation ideas. Initiating open and candid coaching conversations at all levels. Acting as member of the Investment Technology team, responsible for full lifecycle of development tasks - analyzing, designing and coding business-related solutions, as well as core architectural changes, using an Agile programming approach resulting in software delivered to tight deadlines. Participating and contributing to design discussions and code reviews. Understanding changing priorities and be forward-thinking in context switching. Building positive relationships with other team members, collaborating, and communicating effectively to reach successful outcomes. Applying problem-solving skills to help peers in the research and selection of tools, products, and frameworks (which is vital to support business initiatives). Position based in New York, NY. May telecommute 2-3 days per week.Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Technology, Information Systems Management or a related technical field and 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst, Associate, Developer or related position. Must also have 1 year of experience in each of the following: automating and integrating quantitative models and workflows; utilizing of Agile development methodologies; developing scalable solutions for integration production issues using Python; analyzing, designing and coding business-related solutions, as well as core architectural changes, using an Agile programming; proposing and creating proof-of-concept tools to improve code reusability across models and increase work efficiency; working with Natural Language Processing and report automation; training in Python and Machine Learning; and coordinating across multiple stakeholders for cross-functional efforts such as stress testing and design. Certifications Required: Machine Learning with Python, Scrum Master. Technical Skills Required: Microsoft Office, Agile, Python, Excel VBA, Tableau.
