As our Business Manager you will:

  • Support the Institutional Sales COO team in working with key sales partners to ensure the business runs smoothly, that we have clear business development plans, and that we execute those plans with sales and product partners

  • Work in partnership with stakeholders across the Global Business and COO teams to execute key strategic initiatives for Institutional Sales globally

  • Coordinate with Product partners on our client agenda, product development initiatives and key technology development investments

  • Support business management control activities and other ad-hoc tasks required from Institutional Sales COO team

  • Ensure that all Global Markets procedures and governance are adhered to and refined and ensure that strong working relationships are developed and maintained with all other Business Support and functional teams

  • Contribute to team development, effectiveness and success by sharing knowledge and good practice, working collaboratively with others to create a productive, diverse and supportive working environment

  • Support achievement of the HSBC vision, Values, goals and culture in personal behaviour, actions and decision making

  • Suggest ideas and contribute to implementing actions that will improve customer service, quality or the way teams and individuals work together

  • Apply global and regional policies, procedures, practices and standards to their allocated tasks, taking responsibility for their own actions, to ensure the achievement of high levels of quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $125,000.00and $150,000.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Qualifications

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

  • University Degree or advanced qualifications and equivalent experience

  • The job requires a knowledge of the regulatory landscape and resulting control frameworks

  • COO/ Business Management knowledge and experience preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
