Analyze, manipulate, or process large sets of data using statistical software such as Python, R and SQL. Design, develop and validate statistical models for novel medical applications and ensure accurate prediction of outcomes of interest. Areas of team focus include design, optimization and meta-analysis of clinical trials. Provide support functions around model-building, including code review, model performance report generation and code base maintenance. Deliver oral or written presentations of the results of statistical modeling and data analysis to product team, customer engagement team, management and other end users. Provide analysis to demonstrate value of analytical solutions and models to marketing and customer engagement team. Support customer engagements that involve modeling capabilities, including explaining technical methods and concepts to non-technical audiences, code base maintenance and conducting customized analysis. Productize developed methods and code for integration with existing/new products. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week. Job Requirements: Requires a Master’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Biostatistics, or a related field (or its equivalent), plus 1 year of experience.Special Requirements: Requires 1 year of experience with:• Statistical analysis and modeling.• R programming.• A statistical programming language (SAS, Matlab, or STATA).• Developing statistical analysis and solutions with a clinical team.Requires 6 months of experience with:• Clinical data such as patient labs data, EEG, EKG/ECG data, EHR / EMR data, etc.• Clinical trial data such as data from EDC systems and CTMS systems.Requires 3 months of experience with version control tools such as Git.Employment and background checks may be required.
