POSITION DETAILS
Two of the Enrollment Registrar Coordinators will report to the Deputy Registrar and the other(s) will report to Assistant Registrar. In addition to the CUNY Title Overview, the Enrollment Registrar Coordinator will be responsible for the following duties:
· Collaborates with the Admissions Office on in-review or pending residency applications
· Reviews residency applications, documents and assists with residency entry in CUNYfirst
· Answers residency-related inquiries and communicates residency status with students
· Processes in-coming and outgoing ePermit requests, answers ePermit inquiries and communicates ePermit status with students
· Collaborates and communicates ePermit request with the Academic Departments
· Transfers student records from SIMS (legacy) to CUNYfirst for the returning students
· Merges duplicate records using CUNYfirst and collaborates cross-CUNY liaisons to resolve duplicate record issues
· Provides registration operational support, resolves registration-related issues, answers student general inquiry tickets, phone calls and occasionally serves at the One Stop
· Provides assistance with pre-enrollment requisite checking and enrollment verification requests
· Assists with graduation audit and answers student inquiries related to the graduation audit and the graduation progress
· Provides support in maintaining curriculum changes using Coursedog and Smartsheet
· Performs other duties as assigned by the Registrar or the Deputy Registrar
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required.
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Prior experience in a Registrar’s Office, or similar administrative department is ideal.
· Knowledge of FERPA and CUNY’s policies.
· Proficiency in using PeopleSoft (CUNYfirst), DegreeWorks and MS Office.
· Ability to work occasional late evening and/or weekend hours as needed
CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW
Provides operational support for registration operations.
Provides advice on academic and administrative registration requirements
Interprets and communicates academic, registration and enrollment policies and procedures
Assists with registration and provides information to prospective and enrolled students in registration and records-related areas
Complies, generates, and updates various reports, catalogs, and inventories
Maintains compliance with established record release procedures, including the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
Collaborates with College and University offices to address inquires and concerns and resolve student registration and record problems
May participate in activities related to course scheduling and maintaining course databases
May monitor and revise the content of web pages and other communication materials
Performs related duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary commensurate with education and experience $44,411-$51,781.
