CEMS/NYU seeks a scholar experienced in advising student research about Europe and specializing in one of the following disciplines: comparative European politics, international relations, sociology, contemporary European history, or anthropology. We are particularly interested in candidates whose research and teaching focus on the European Union; on political, economic and social developments in contemporary Europe; on European foreign affairs; or on identity and minorities in Europe.

Candidates should have completed their Ph.D. no earlier than 2020 and no later than August 1, 2025.

The deadline to apply is January 17, 2025. All application materials must be submitted via Interfolio.

As diversity and inclusion are an important part of the NYU mission, for the latter statement we ask you to provide a brief paragraph telling us how diversity and inclusion figure into your past and present teaching, research, community engagement, and/or life experience, as well as how you would bring issues of diversity and inclusion to bear on the teaching and programming of NYU CEMS.
