Citigroup Investment Strategy Lead in New York, New York

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Investment Strategy Lead for its New York, NY location.

Duties: Serve as Global Equity Strategist within the Global Strategy team to serve as thought leader and formulate macro investment views across all regions and asset classes. Formulate investment views for global equities in the context of multi-asset class portfolios. Set tactical asset allocation and basis for discretionary portfolios. Identify short-term and long-term investment opportunities for Citi Global Wealth clients. Provide Asset Class input to the Citi Global Investment Committee (GIC). Write equity market commentary and transmit GIC views to the field and to Citi clients. Work with investment partners to identify asset allocation gaps and define strategies to close such gaps. Lead regional discussions of implementation strategies and action plans for investing in high-conviction themes. Participate in global and regional sales and research calls. Coordinate the rollout of Citi Global Outlook and contribute to Quadrant and other Citi Publications. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policy.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation in the financial services industry. Five (5) years of experience must include: Utilizing MS Office, Haver Analytics, Factset, and Bloomberg to build economic and financial models, create and present investment strategy ideas, and identify implementation vehicles for strategy views; Performing Macroeconomic Analysis to assess global economic impact on equity, fixed income, FX, and multi-asset class portfolios; Drafting reports covering key equity market topics including tactical regional views, multi-asset classes and sector recommendations, factor and style preferences, and high conviction themes across the global landscape; Presenting global investment views in internal sales calls and in client meetings and webcasts; and Identifying implementation options for international and domestic investors according to Asset Allocation and Market Research Output.
