Citigroup Learning Advisor, Client in New York, New York

The Learning Advisor is responsible for all matters related to the learning and culture needs of the Client organization. The Learning Advisor will be required to develop an in-depth understanding of the needs of the Client organization, and address those needs via leveraging existing solutions and the development of targeted learning solutions that are aligned to the global Citi learning agenda and priorities.

The Learning Advisor will be required to develop a thorough understanding of strategic direction of the Client organization which includes partnering with key business and HR stakeholders to consult on learning needs, conducting thorough needs analysis and developing the learning strategy, delivering/facilitating learning, working with external partners to deliver learning, managing end-to-end project management for learning and culture initiatives, and measuring impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops learning and development strategy for their product/function and regularly validates the strategy with their product/function leaders an HR partners.

  • Works closely with business partners to further develop and implement a learning and development strategy in alignment with the global learning agenda, including assessment and reengineering of existing programs, analysis of gaps etc.

  • Works with key business stakeholders to assess needs and develop, manage, and execute comprehensive research-based, learning experiences - ensuring that these solutions and programs support business drivers and targets.

  • Establishes strategies and solutions that are directly linked to organizational and business goals by building and maintaining strong partnerships with key business leaders, SMEs, and vendors to drive performance improvement and behavior change.

  • Understands relevant business and HR priorities/needs and identifies key opportunities for capability building, performance improvement, cultural development, to maximize overall impact across their product/function.

  • Provides management and consulting to Human Resource and business partners and proactively identifies and prioritizes the L&D opportunities to support successful business outcomes.

  • Work with Subject Matter Experts and internal and external designers to design, develop, execute, and measure learning solutions.

  • Utilizes sound performance diagnostic techniques and consultative skills to drive interventions to improve organizational (not simply individual) performance.

  • Implements learning projects employing blended instructional technology and solutions, including traditional classroom, web-based, and other forms of learning.

  • Brings a research-based, iterative, and curious mindset to all engagements and adopts a data-based approach in the design and delivery of Learning and Culture solutions and initiatives.

  • Leads the analysis of current versus future state gaps, identifies root causes, determines the appropriate solution and how success should be measured.

  • Regularly monitors and communicates progress with HR / Business partners and navigates any variation in expectations with them.

  • Creates regular executive/stakeholder presentations and marketing material to provide updates, disseminate information, and demonstrate impact.

  • Stays abreast to latest external market trends and anticipates their impact on future capability requirements for their product/function.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in Learning and Development, within the Financial Services industry is preferred.

  • Experienced in large, matrixed, and multinational organizations is preferred.

  • Self-motivated and strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication, and demonstrates the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with learning management systems.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$149,600.00 - $224,400.00
