Vibrant Emotional Health Licensed Clinician in New York, New York

Salary Range: $65,900 - $75,000
Travel: Field work required in Manhattan

Position Overview:
Under the supervision of the Clinical Program Director, the OLP Clinician will provide therapy to children and young adults over the course of six to eight months. Clinicians are expected to manage themselves and their field work on a day-to-day basis, provide clinical insight, and support the program through collaboration with other clinicians on the team. The ideal clinician will have the flexibility and the willingness to go above and beyond in order to continue the program’s growth and outreach.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and therapy to a caseload of 13-18 clients ages 6 to 21.
Assess clients for clinical interventions as well as complete in-depth psychological assessments as needed.
Conduct home, telehealth and community visits in a targeted portion of the Vibrant service area (Bronx, Manhattan, Queens)
Complete diagnostic assessments for clients after 3-5 sessions.
Provide 15-18 billable therapy hours per week with up to 35 hours worked per week.
Sessions are completed via a hybrid model including; telehealth, in-person, office-based sessions and occasional community-based sessions. Clients reside within the Bronx, Queens, and Manhattan.
Complete Trainings for Evidenced Based Models (EBM) and implement TF-CBT, CBT and DBT interventions.
Collaborate with other services within the program (including behavioral health services) and provide clinical insights and recommendations for each client.
Participate in weekly clinical supervision, monthly staff meetings and other programmatic meetings as needed.
Perform intake and crisis response services and work flexible hours, as required. You may be asked to cover cases, in times of crisis/staff shortages.
Provide wellness-oriented advocacy for people receiving services to assist them in reaching their full potential.
Adhere to OMH guideline of timely documentation within 24-72 hours.
Collaborate with the QA/QI team to ensure team compliance with all documentation on: trainings, and agency expectations.
Attend required and job-related in-service training sessions annually.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Provide clinical support to behavioral specialist for shared cases.
Provide training and clinical support for un-licensed therapists as needed.
Complete psychoeducational interventions as needed for clients and client families.
Work with socially, economically, culturally, and ethnically diverse groups in a mutually respectful manner using a strength-based and flexible approach.
Serve as a liaison with community resources and act as program representative at certain community meetings as well as provide community outreach.
Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy
Active license required, including any of the following: LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, MFT-LP, LCAT
Limited permit applicants will be expected to complete bi-weekly clinical supervision for licensure.
Familiarity with evidenced-based practices
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

Physical Requirements:

Ability to remain calm and composed under stress
