Neuberger Berman Senior Analyst/Associate - Business Objectives Implementation in New York, New York

Summary

Private Wealth (PW) Business Objectives Implementation is responsible for servicing the entire High Net Worth client business across areas of administration, client service, training, business control and supervision. We support approximately 45 teams across Portfolio Management, Wealth Advisory, and Trust Company.

We are a team of dedicated subject matter experts and solution seekers. The team serves as the primary liaison between the client facing Private Wealth teams, Technology and Operations, working to enhance and maintain our complex operating platform.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a business liaison between the client-facing PW teams, Technology, Operations and Legal & Compliance by developing a deep understanding of the functions and systems, current processes and procedures across the PW business.

  • Seek solutions (tactical & strategic) to address expressed deficiencies and opportunities for business process re-engineering. Proactively propose new ideas for both process improvement and business innovation.

  • Master applicable technology platforms. Partner with business users to identify enhancement opportunities and priorities. Participate in pilot testing of new applications / systems.

  • Assist in the design and development of change management and training programs. Conduct individual and small group training/information sessions related to new system implementations, enhancements, procedures, and project initiatives. Develop and execute strategies, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and project planning, to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.

  • Analyze and address data exception themes across various systems/projects and collaborate to identify root cause and identify system enhancements to prevent these from occurring/recurring.

  • Participate in various day to day business, technological and operational activities related to approvals, controls, reporting, and ad-hoc projects as they arise.

Qualifications / Skills

  • Demonstrated track record of academic and professional success.

  • 2-5 years of financial services industry experience. Familiarization of private wealth business, investment advisory, and asset allocation frameworks.

  • Motivated by intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn, working cohesively with teammates in taking on new challenges.

  • Ability to thrive in an environment of ambiguity and change.

  • Confidence in working with individuals and teams across the PW business.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, stakeholder engagement skills and excellent follow-through.

  • Ability to manage deliverables/projects both independently and collaboratively.

  • Innovative mindset in the preparation of presentations, business & oral communications.

  • Experience in program implementation and user adoption.

  • Aladdin Wealth, Charles River, client reporting and portfolio accounting systems experience a plus.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook. Exceptionally proficient in Tableau, PowerPoint and Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.). Must be comfortable with working with large sets of data to identify data patterns/correlations, organize and create visuals.

  • Series 7 and 66 licenses or ability to obtain preferred.

Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $70,000-$90,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
