Google Senior Partner Marketing Manager, Segment and Ecosystem Growth in New York, New York

This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 7 years of experience in marketing working across one or more marketing fields (i.e. growth, product marketing, brand marketing, social).

  • Experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 12 years of technology marketing experience with a focus on product/solution marketing, product launch, partner marketing, communications, program management, and demand generation.

  • Experience influencing highly matrix teams with both internal and external organization.

  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and knowledge of cloud business and ecosystem.

  • Ability to develop and execute strategy including project management, including designing project, execution, tracking, and measurement.

  • Excellent business acumen and ability to interact with highly technical people and technologies.

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the representation of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

The Google Cloud Marketing team is responsible for raising awareness and interest about Google Cloud among enterprises while assisting our audience through a seamless customer journey, from interest to discovery, trial, commitment and advocacy, fueling market share growth.

The Google Cloud North America Partner Marketing team is responsible for delivering demand generation through and with partners, winning partner mindshare and preference towards Google Cloud and enabling partner marketers to execute their marketing strategy for the partnership in the region. We measure our success through pipeline and partner business metrics. We build and execute our plans and programs with our partners, regional partner ecosystem leadership, and various global and regional marketing teams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000-$239,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Own the partner marketing outlook and strategy for key Mid-Market and Small/Medium Business Segments. Work with Partner Managers to understand partner needs and how to best position Google Cloud products in the market.

  • Drive initiatives and programs to grow high potential partners within our Partner Ecosystem, by working in lockstep with regional and global stakeholders.

  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders to integrate partners into the regional field marketing programming and activations. Collaborate with the Partner Sales Managers and influence executive stakeholders while navigating highly matrixed organizations, and managing with ambiguity, internally and externally.

  • Develop program timelines, project plans, and manage deliverables to ensure successful execution of programs to optimize return on investment (ROI). Use data and numbers to draw insights, find business gaps and opportunities, and propose action plans to close gaps and achieve measurable goals.
