Fitch Group Services, Inc. Senior Software Engineer in New York, New York

Design, develop, and test applications and services using various software technologies. Develop Financial Database Repository (FDR) services and applications. Partner with product owners and multiple teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals and identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements. Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions to solve them. Automate manual processes, optimize data delivery, and re-design infrastructure for greater scalability. Collaborate with stakeholders, including Ratings, Business, and R&D, to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs. Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in data systems. Architect and design applications and databases in conjunction with the Architecture Chapter. Code and test applications. Review delivered applications to ensure they are in compliance with designs. Work with Quality Analysts to ensure adherence to framework and coding standards. Work with Java; software development in Python; building CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Kubernetes; AWS cloud services; EC2; EKS; Lambda; S3; Rest and GraphQL APIs; SQL, PL/SQL, and NoSQL; creating complex queries to extract data and building performant datasets; creating data pipelines using Kafka Streams; Microservices and Distributed Computing; GIT; Maven; Ant; JUnit; IDEs, including IntelliJ and Eclipse; Apache Kafka; Spring Boot; MongoDB; Oracle; and, Bamboo.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or a related field of study, plus five (5) years of experience with Java; software development in Python; building CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Kubernetes; AWS cloud services; EC2; EKS; Lambda; S3; Rest and GraphQL APIs; SQL, PL/SQL, and NoSQL; creating complex queries to extract data and building performant datasets; creating data pipelines using Kafka Streams; Microservices and Distributed Computing; GIT; Maven; Ant; JUnit; IDEs, including IntelliJ and Eclipse; Apache Kafka; Spring Boot; MongoDB; Oracle; and, Bamboo.

Minimum Salary: 169,229 Maximum Salary: 172,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
