Wells Fargo Senior Software Engineer in NEW YORK, New York
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer that will gather data, design and develop BI tools and create visual elements with business intelligences software and write engaging text summarizing key insights and findings.
In this role, you will:
Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Develop complex SQL queries measuring proactive responses for service level management.
Translate data visualizations into leadership reports via PowerPoint as needed in a large, distributed, diverse support organization and will leverage this knowledge to facilitate the design, development and implementation of analytics and visualization capabilities.
Provide complex data visualization experience, critical thinking, credibility, and data "story telling" will be the determining factors in the overall selection.
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of SQL experience
4+ years of Microsoft SSIS
4+ years of Microsoft SSAS
4+ years of Microsoft SSRS
2+ years of Microsoft Power BI
Desired Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
Understanding of CICD
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
Knowledge and understanding of databases and data mining techniques
Ability to play leadership role in large and complex analytical projects
Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
Leadership experience including; coaching, training, and mentoring
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Strong analytical skills with ability to draw conclusions and translate findings
Ability to communicate complex statistical concepts to non-experts using data visualizations
Proven ability to use SQL to effectively and efficiently obtain data from SQL Server, Teradata sources
Must be a self-starter with genuine curiosity and the ability to acquire new concepts and skills quickly
Visualization skills to showcase and develop the appropriate graphs and charts for analysis using tools such as Tableau/Power BI

$100,800 - $179,200/Annually - New York, NY
$100, 800 - $179,200/Annually - Concord, CA
$100, 800 - $179,200/Annually - Fremont, CA
$100, 800 - $179,200/Annually - San Francisco, CA
Pay Range
$84,000.00 - $149,400.00 Annual
