Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities
  • Assist the Team Lead in the development and implementation of IT infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support project planning and decision-making.
  • Support the planning and execution of infrastructure projects.
  • Gather and document requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Team Lead and other stakeholders.
  • Perform data analysis and generate reports to identify trends and insights.
  • Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to the development of documentation, including user manuals, process guides, and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with business goals.

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and 3 years of experience in IT or a similar role (internships or co-op experience will be considered). or
  • Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and 4 years of experience in IT or a similar role (internships or co-op experience will be considered). or
  • High School Diploma/GED 5 years of experience in IT or a similar role (internships or co-op experience will be considered).
Relevant Work Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in system analysis with a focus on software and infrastructure deployment. 3rd tier application support experience a major plus.
  • Exceptional project management skills, capable of leading projects to successful outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a commitment to providing excellent support.
  • Required experience with operating systems, including both Windows and Linux. Scripting (Powershell, bash/ksh or other Linux shell, Python) is a major plus.
  • Server administration concepts (storage, backup, common tools such as Ansible and rsync).
  • Practical networking knowledge (subnets, firewalls, routing, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, SFTP/SFTPS, SMTP).
  • Willingness to work 24/7 on call support/shift as needed.
  • Database experience, preferably with Oracle and MS SQL, with PostgreSQL being a plus.
  • Exposure to Containers, Kubernetes, Virtualization technologies, including VMware and Nutanix.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps and a thorough understanding of the Agile framework for project management.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Experience working with data centers and a strong cybersecurity-first mentality.

Additional Physical Demands
  • Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.

Minimum Salary: 95000.00 Maximum Salary: 130000.00 Salary Unit: Yearly
