Under the office of Enterprise IT, the Enterprise Asset Management and Ops team enables and supports cross functional IT integration and deployment of Enterprise projects across Yahoo to deliver the best possible solutions and products to our customers. Yahoo Enterprise IT creates modern, secure, and efficient solutions to support the Yahoo Internal Infrastructure and Lines of Business. Within Enterprise IT, the Enterprise Asset Management and Ops team is responsible to maintain operational excellence, ensure the efficient and secure management of hardware assets, support and drive organization strategies, create and maintain best-in-class processes and procedures, and coordinate cross-team priorities and initiatives to ensure the highest quality of service for our business partners and key stakeholders.

A Lot About You

We're looking for an impressive individual who is passionate about all aspects of program and project management, is highly organized, and communicates well with internal and external stakeholders. This is a key position that will lead programs through definition, execution and deployment of technical program lifecycle to ensure programs have clear business requirements, appropriate resourcing, agreed delivery schedules, and viable implementation plans. Once programs/projects are kicked off, your role is to drive them to deliver against committed schedules, to either resolve or escalate issues, and to communicate frequent status against goals. You will continue to see programs through user acceptance and global implementation. In addition, this position will be responsible for tracking actual spend to budget forecasts and managing of the EIT Objectives and Key Results.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing org wide Financial, Budgeting and IT projects.
  • Own the success of the programs/projects and the team with a fierce passion
  • Define and manage org-wide metrics
  • Work with the various product and engineering team to ensure projects stay aligned with business priorities
  • Establish relationships across partner organizations to facilitate program-level delivery
  • Support IT Leadership Team ad hoc requests, data analysis and creation of Executive presentations
  • Manage and facilitate MBR/QBRs
  • Support All Hands and Product Demo's coordination


Qualifications:

Minimum Job Qualifications:
  • 4 years direct program management experience
  • Proficiency at core project management skills: task breakdown, schedule development, resource allocation, risk analysis, progress tracking and reporting
  • An ability to manage multiple IT projects to task-level, based on a background of technical experience
  • Track record of delivering programs successfully as a dedicated program leader
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in writing and verbally, at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent team leadership and team building skills
  • Understanding of defining and managing org-wide OKRs and retrospectives (Workboard)
  • Setting up and Managing opex/capex spend through financial tools
  • Experience defining and managing org-wide metrics/dashboards (Looker)
  • Experience leading IT Digital Transformation Programs
  • Experience working in a G-Suite environment
  • Moderate expertise working with Sheets/Excel
  • Bachelors in IT, Business, or similar field or equivalent work experience


Preferable Job Qualifications:
  • PMP certification
  • CSM Certification
  • Apptio experience
  • Knowledge of Workboard or Looker

The compensation for this position ranges from $98, 250.00 - $204, 375.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
