Insight Global Strategic Analyst - Hybrid in NYC in New York, New York

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Strategic Analyst to join a prestigious global law firm client. This is a full-time position based out of the law firm's New York, NY office location. This firm continues to be named one of the best law firms in the U.S. and the U.K., servicing top organizations in the business, finance, technology, and government industries.

The analyst will be joining a team of strategic analysts that lead collaborative projects to address open-ended business questions and develops novel analytical frameworks to meet evolving business needs. The analyst will play a key role in in providing insightful analyses to address high-priority and strategic business questions for firm leadership. The analyst will need to leverage both analytical and data storytelling skills to support decision making across multiple business functions within the firm - Finance, Client Development, HR, Attorney Talent, etc.). The responsibilities of the role are both ad-hoc and project-based that require the analyst to collect relevant data, analyze data in a structured manner, identify trends and insights, and communicate findings by using thoughtful deliverables.

Day-to-day responsibilities may include:

* Lead projects from start to finish that address key business questions from firm leadership, which includes framing the business question, scoping and gathering relevant data, conducting quantitative analysis, and communicating insights using the principles of data storytelling.

* Collect, analyze, structure, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data from various internal and external sources; use data to identify trends and begin to draw implications.

* Collaborate with internal clients and stakeholders to understand their objectives and challenges to then tailor analyses accordingly.

* Evaluate results of complex analyses and provide actionable recommendations to firm leadership and other stakeholders.

* Acquire subject matter expertise in the data, systems, and processes across the firm and how they interconnect

This is a full-time position with a hybrid work schedule, in the office 2-3 days a week, in New York, NY.

Skills and Requirements

* 2-5 of strategic analyst experience, demonstrating strong analytical skills, creative problem-solving skills, and ability to connect data to the business

* Experience with data visualization and storytelling to create compelling presentations that communicate insights to senior executives

* Exceptional attention to detail and data integrity

* Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and business intelligence tools (tableau, MicroStrategy, Alteryx, etc.)

* Bachelor's degree in finance, business, management, analytics, or other related field * Experience working in a law firm, Big 4, or other professional services environment null
