JPMorgan Chase Vice President - Product Manager - Digital Payments / E-Commerce in New York, New York

This role is to be a founding member of a new digital wallet created by the country's largest banks that is targeting launch in 2023. This new payment product will create a seamless customer experience for payments and accelerate our strategic path to elevate connected commerce experiences across the Chase digital ecosystem. This leader will have strong passion for driving "start-up" efforts in large companies and desire to be on the bleeding edge of technology and digital payments.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage product backlog, production support, issue & defect resolution and prioritization

  • Monitor against agreed goals and benchmarks, identifying, scoping and finding implementation paths for needed enhancements, and creating remediation plans when needed

  • Work with Technology and Design teams to lead product developments efforts

  • Collaborate with a team of cross-functional partners (i.e. Risk, Control, Compliance, Legal) to ensure a strong risk and controls environment

  • Deliver communications to executives and leadership team on the strategy and progress

  • Publish regular executive reports summarizing the overall health of the product, industry and competitive trends and the voice of the customer

  • Monitor any product change request and assist when required in resolving production related problems

  • Conduct pre-release reviews which could include regression testing and QA to certify the release as production ready

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 7+ years of experience in financial services, digital, product management and / or Agile software development

  • Deep experience in online payments including wallets, e-commerce checkout and merchant acquiring & processing highly desired

  • Passion for understanding customer needs and demonstrated ability to build digital products

  • Ability to think strategically and to connect the dots to the bigger picture, while still comfortable diving into the details required to ensure successful execution

  • Proven success in collaborating, influencing and driving decisions with multiple stakeholders, including team members across product, technology and design

  • Strong knowledge of APIs, open Banking and engineering practices

  • Strong understanding of product development using Agile / Scrum

  • Proven track record of managing risk and controls

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Business Management or comparable field of study
