Industrial Staffing Services Inc dba Equiliem CVOR in Newark, New Jersey
Equiliem Healthcare is seeking a qualified professional for a 13-week contract in the CVOR unit. The schedule includes 3x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM and one 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM shift, totaling 37.5 hours per week. The position requires flexibility to work 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays based on unit needs. Block/special scheduling cannot be accommodated unless approved at the time of booking; RTO must be included with submission.
ResponsibilitiesPrimary duties will be in the CVOR, with floating to the Main OR for primarily orthopedic and general cases. On-call requirements include 24-hour availability on one weekend per month (Saturday/Sunday) and an 8-hour shift on two weekdays, either 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM or 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Qualifications- BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 2.5 years of OR experience required.
- Experience in circulating is required; scrub experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in a variety of cases including valve replacement, coronary artery bypass, TAVR, dissection, transplant, VATs, and more.
- Strong experience in general and orthopedic procedures is essential.
- Experience with standard cardiac and endovascular procedures is a must.
- Proficiency with the EPIC/OR Manager (PICIS) charting system.
- First-time travelers are accepted.
- Scrubs are provided.
