Group Insurance has operation centers across the United States. Reporting directly to the VP of New Business, the Director, Quote Operations is a critical role in delivering on our customer commitments within the quote process. This individual will be a key leader in managing multiple teams (workflow, rating, questionnaires) that support response to RFPs from our customers. This individual will not only deliver consistent and accurate results across teams, but will play a key strategic role in defining the future strategy of quote operations and RFP response with Group Insurance. The current EWA for this position is Hybrid / Virtual. While this position does not require your on-site presence on a regular basis, depending on business preferences, there may be occasions where you are required to be on-site at a Prudential office. What you can expect: Ownership of Underwriting Workflow team, including process ownership from RFP receipt through delivery to key stakeholders Ownership of RFP questionnaire team, supporting best-in-class customer service, accuracy, and efficiency Ownership of vendor partnership, in support of all steps in the quote process Will be accountable for driving measurable improvements in process time and customer satisfaction Will drive closer partnership between vendor and internal teams Owner of strategy execution for eternal partner quote process integration Partners closely with key internal stakeholders to identify challenges and resolve issues Will have oversight of multiple managers and larger operational team Key partner in development of efficient internal quote processes, especially in relation to underwriting and RFP assignment, manual rate generation, and broker delivery What youll need: Operational leadership experience Experience with process integration with upstream and downstream partners comfort with technology development process and implementation Experience scaling new teams and processes Experience defining and setting KPIs and managing within an established lean management framework Underwriting knowledge strongly preferred Prudential encourages all applicants, even if you don't meet every requirement. The salary range for this role is from $133,800.00 to $181,000.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
