Job Summary

Provide business operations support to the Renewables & Energy Solutions (RES) department in the areas of data analytics, executive reporting, data analysis, and process improvement. Serves as Product Owner of the RES Data Analytics Platform through collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, prioritize analytical projects, and deliver impactful solutions. Serves as an advisor to RES Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for development and timely delivery of all executive-level reporting and other RES reporting needs. Lead and perform data analysis on complex datasets through development and implementation of reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights on RES' multi-billion-dollar portfolio. This role provides direct supervision of both MAST and contractor employees.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the product owner and primary point of contact for the CEF Analytics Platform / Datalake which requires collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to help understand and define business requirements, translate them into actionable tasks and prioritize their implementation. Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the analytics platform, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize its efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing comprehensive validation, verification, and quality assurance checks on numerous datasets. Communicate progress, updates, and challenges to stakeholders and senior leadership.

  • Serves as an advisor to RES Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for development and timely delivery of all executive-level reporting. Collaborate with senior leadership teams to understand reporting requirements and priorities. Develop and maintain executive level presentations, reports, and dashboards to effectively communicate complex information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding and approval.

  • Lead Resource for Data Analysis. Drive the development and analysis of complex datasets to identify valuable insights into business performance and opportunities. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to effectively communicate analysis findings. Provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis to support business objectives and drive continuous improvement

  • Direct supervision of both MAST and contractor employees. Provide guidance, support and feedback to foster professional development and growth.

Job Specific Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of relevant work experience. In lieu of a degree, 11 years of relevant work experience

  • Strong Operational decision-making skills, analytical ability, problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication skills

  • Advanced interpersonal skills and presentation skills; demonstrated ability to present and discuss complex information

  • Experience leading and managing teams, including providing direction, feedback, training and developing others

  • Ability to develop solid working relationships with peers in other areas by understanding their perspectives and issues

  • Ability to multi-task and maintain high performance and drive high standards for individual and organizational performance

  • Experience with proven process improvement methods coupled with well-organized and systematic steps of tasks, timing and resourcing to implement decisions

  • Systems/applications experience in SAP, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Access

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Demonstrated Data Analytics skills and ability to work with large relational databases

  • Microsoft PowerBI Desktop, PowerBI Service, Power Automate

  • Structured Query Language (SQL)

Desired

  • MBA or advanced degrees in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or Statistics

  • Lean Six Sigma Certification

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

  • Experience in Energy Efficiency
