Position Description:

Professionals in the NY/NJ area willing to travel to client the site in Newark at least 4 days a week. Responsible for writing scripts and creating automation environments for repeated tests. Using different automation tools, professionals will design, test, and deploy effective test automation solutions. Goal is to automate as much of the testing effort as possible with a minimum set of code. Responsible for analyzing the functionality of applications and designing automated tests to validate their functions. Will design and develop programs that conduct automatic tests on new and existent software. Build frameworks to develop the programs and write automation scripts. Highly-skilled automation tester designing automation scripts and finding solutions for automation problems. Should be committed to developing skills in order to provide up-to-date solutions. Should be proficient in programming languages and have excellent time management skills.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications.

Participate in the requirement gathering, analysis and design stage to

Visualize the testing needs at different stages

Establish deep understanding of the acceptance criteria

Build automation scripts that meet the requirements

Coordinating with different teams including but not limited to Product, third-party, UAT and Development teams

Responsible for coordinating, planning, tracking and measuring the end-to-end test progress by various testing parties

Meeting with the software design team to discuss verification protocols.

Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas.

Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas.

Solving automation software and finalizing system procedures.

Identifying quality issues and creating test reports.

Collaborating with the design team to tackle application faults

An understanding of the latest trends and their role in a banking environment

Test planning and test case documentation

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.

• Hands on experience in

o Working as a QA automation engineer in Selenium and Java.

o Writing automation scripts and implementing automation solutions.

o Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures in on-perm and cloud/hybrid environments.

o BDD framework

o Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures.

o Creating Functional, Integration, Product, automation, regression and other test plans and test scenarios

o Identifying and Logging quality issues and creating test reports.

o Various testing collaboration tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA etc

o Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas.

o Test planning and test case documentation

o Debug test failures and root cause analysis

• Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.

• Test execution experience in banking application environment

• Collaborating with the design team to solve application faults

• An understanding of the latest trends and their role in a banking environment

• Team Oriented, client facing skills, able to collaborate with multiple teams.
