Worrell Contracting, Grounds Maintenance Department, has need for a Grounds Maintenance Worker.  This position is part-time (24-30 hours weekly) with benefits.  The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., and may involve weekends and holidays as necessary.  Please note that working hours will fluctuate depending on business needs.  This position requires attendance during inclement weather.

Rate of pay is $17.20 per hour with an additional benefit of $4.57 per hour for Health and Welfare benefits.  The positions are open until filled.

Responsible for performing cemetery ground maintenance services including mowing, trimming, edging, debris removal and basic maintenance of grounds equipment.  Requires heavy lifting up to 100 lbs.

• A valid driver's license is required.
• 2 years of landscaping grounds maintenance preferred.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• High School Graduate or G.E.D. is preferred.
• Knowledge of general cemetery operations & maintenance preferred, but not required.
• Pre-employment tests required include drug testing, criminal background check and 3 reference checks.
