Job Description summary:

Perform all general maintenance and repair functions within approved guidelines and as directed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.

  • Actively supports the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests.

  • Responsible for all general maintenance and repair of minor problems throughout the complex as directed by immediate supervisor.

  • Ensure adherence to all OSHA regulations and codes, NFPA Standards and internal safety policies and procedures.

  • Operates company vehicles as required.

  • Conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment as assigned.

  • Supports other Maintenance Engineers as needed and assigned.

  • Responsible for use and care of tools and equipment.

  • All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of two years experience in general maintenance.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid driver’s license required. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure and technical manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock and radiation. The associate occasionally works in high, precarious places and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to extreme heat or cold. There are also strong smells and horse related cleanup.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When around equipment or mechanical rooms, the noise level may increase to loud.
