• Must have a valid Class A CDL license and clean driving record
• Ability to haul a loaded trailer to the landfill.
• Must be able to pass SWANNA training.
• Must have good mechanical ability.
• Participates in the weighing, inspection, compacting, loading, and hauling of solid waste for landfill disposal, and operates all phases of the Transfer Station process.
• Must be agile enough to use a ladder and enter semi-trailers to sweep them out.
• Must be able to learn to operate and maintain trucks, trailers, and associated Transfer Station and wastewater related equipment.
• Maintains site and assist customers in areas such as compost, household hazardous waste, and trees and unloading customer trash.
• The scheduled work rotation includes Saturday work approximately twice per month.
