The Distribution team develops commercial strategies to drive growth in non-direct or partner channels. The leader will be responsible for negotiating multi-million-dollar agreements and creating plans to drive strategic growth via these partners to deliver incremental business to our hotels at the lowest acquisition cost.

Your Responsibilities

• Set global direction for Choice’s distribution strategy

• Source and negotiate partner deals

• Drive incremental business while balancing channel mix and acquisition costs

• Reimagine Choice’s approach to GDS channels and performance

• Research, expand distribution, and participate in new products with partners

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is desired, or equivalent experience

• MBA is preferred

• At least 10 years experience in partnerships, performance management, driving channel or product growth, creating channel or product strategy, and P&L ownership.

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

• Demonstrates key competencies, such as the ability to drive results, adapt to different and complex situations, and develop talent.

  Your Team

  This is a leadership role that will report to the Vice President of Revenue Management and Commercial Strategy . You will have 3 or more direct reports a nd collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.

  Y ou will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide corporate headquarters in North Bethesda , M D . Less than 15 miles from Washington, DC, we’re located one block away from the North Bethesda Metro station, with service on the Red Line and the MARC Brunswick line, easy access to I-270, and plenty of free parking provided by Choice Hotels.

  Right now, our associates in corporate headquarters are working in a hybrid environment, up to 4 days per week in the office and virtual ly from your home office the remaining days . We provide flexibility and encourage ongoing communication with your leadership to establish expectations about your unique needs.
